“HAPPINESS CAN BE FOUND IN THE DARKEST OF TIMES, IF ONE ONLY REMEMBER TO TURN ON THE LIGHT.”
DO you know how I always talk about doing what you want and flipping the bird to the society and ect. Seriously I want to do this in all sort of things including what to wear. I have been raised in a very strict family when it came to clothes and what a girl can wear and not. Not just family, but society in general controlled what should I wear and not to wear. As sexual harassment in Egypt is at its highest level that if you want guys not to harass you in the street, you should wear clothes to their liking and the society’s liking otherwise you would be called names from everyone.
One of those forbidden things that I can’t wear in the streets of Egypt is the dresses. You see I am short and maxi dresses are not my best friend, so I tend to the shorter dresses, but it is a no go as mentioned earlier. But sense I moved to Cairo and I found more and more people wearing those dresses and it made me want to flip the bird to everyone around me and wear them. To me dresses are a symbol of femininity and never wearing one except on special occasion makes me sad.
So I have looked into some of my favorite bloggers and found great dresses for me and you to wear this fall. Please notice that fall differ from country to another and all of these dresses works just fine for my country.
I would really love to know what you think of this post in the comments down below. Till next time, bye. .
