5 STEPS THAT LEAD TO A MINIMAL WARDROBE (TRY OUT)

“IF YOU SPEND TO LONG HOLDING ON TO THE ONE WHO TREATS YOU LIKE AN OPTION, YOU’LL MISS FINDING THE ONE WHO TREATS YOU LIKE A CHOICE.”

If you are following my blog for the last couple of weeks you would know that I have decided to adapt the minimal lifestyle in all aspects of my life and talked about it in HOW TO BE A MINIMALIST IN BLOGGING, HOW TO STOPPROCRASTINATION BY MINIMALISM, MINIMALISM IN YOUR WARDROBE. Make sure you go back and check them out if you want to know why adopted minimalism and what are the steps I have taken to reach this phase and how can you join me in this trip.

So I am here, in the hardest phase, the de cluttering phase. I can get rid of anything in my life, except for my addiction, clothes.
When I say that I have a huge amount of clothes you won’t believe me. As an average person I really have a huge amount of clothes, but compared to celebrities I won’t weigh much. I have two full wardrobes in two different houses in two different cities that is full of clothes, shoes and bags. I can’t seem to have enough of them.
So after choosing the clothes that I love and will wear, I need to get rid of the rest. I need to have less stuff in my closets, so how exactly I am planning in doing so? I have searched a found a way, that I will try it and when done, I will post about it soon enough.

STEP ONE: Limit your spending’s. When I say limit, I mean spending nothing, none. I want to travel to Columbia really so much, so I have to have enough money to travel, so I will not buy things, so I will just have to keep the things that I might not need now, but will need in the near future, or maybe in the far future.

STEP TWO: The always, sometimes and never rule. Put your clothes in those three categories, and you know which category you will get rid of.

STEP THREE:  The sometimes pile will have to minimize so there are some questions that should be asked:
·         Does it still fit?
·         Is it still in good quality?
·         Can it wore in a multiple ways?
·         Is it still trendy and cool?
·         Will wearing it make me happy?

STEP FOUR: The hardest step ever, define your style. Am I the only one who really can’t define her style in here? Please I would love to know, so leave it in the comments down below.

STEP FIVE: Organize what’s left. The easiest step ever and the one I will be longing for.

I would love to know, if you have any other tips or any other way I should follow. Please leave them in the comments down below.
