Earlier this week, I gave you a break from the deep posts I usually share in journals, because honestly I needed it. I needed something light, funny and to show the simple face of life. Today on the other hand I am going to talk about a very important topic, something I have been suffering from, since I was a baby, and something that I don’t want to live with anymore, today I am talking about how to conquer fear. This blog was driven by this need to conquer the fear of society, to not let the society control my life by fearing it. I have come so far from where I started with this character in me, and I still have a lot to do in my life if I want to be alive not to live.

My secret to let go of my fear is pretty simple and easy and once done you will get addict to it. I can name it because I am already addict to it. The way that will guarantee to get over your irrational fear, is simply to face this fear.
I know that at the beginning this will sound so hard, but believe me it is the best thing you can do to yourself in order to live the life that you want. If you fear the heights, get on a top of a high building and stand there, if you fear darkness, go to a dark room and stay there for half an hour and if you fear to talk in public, do it. Just ask yourself what is the worst thing that could happen to you and in most cases you will find that there won’t be anything you will lose except your chance to be free.
I still has a lot to come, for example I got over the fear of speaking to strangers and men, now I can do this without being afraid, I got over the fear of driving which by the way was a huge fear of mine. I got over the fear of rejection and starting expressing my opinion and ideas. I got over the fear of being myself not what others want and I became happier. On my goals is to get over some other fears like skydiving and bungee jumping, who knows, maybe I would do it when I get the chance.
By the way, I am by no means a doctor or a professional self-helper. I just talk about my experiencing. An experience that I searched a lot for a cure for. So if you have a critical case or what we call a phobia, please go to a specialist and he/she would tell you the right and healthy way to get over this phobia you have.
